Crca High Carbon Steel Strips

Our CRCA High carbon steels contain Carbon from 0.7 to 1.00% with manganese. These steels are commonly known as spring steel. These are generally high stresses and high treated to obtain the maximum elastic limits, without becoming sufficiently brittle to cause sudden failure in service.

Hardened steel is very important because only fully hardened springs have the maximum ability to take a permanent set (sagging).

We offer CRCA High Carbon Steel Strip in C-80 and C-96 Grades.

Application: Mainly used for making automobile components, knives for cutting foam & plastics, doctor blades and so on.
