A high-quality pressure bar is important to achieve a precision perfect cut since it determines the production relevant cutting thickness for the specific veneer process. Specifying the correct relationship of knife and pressure bar design and steel composition is crucial.
Our Pressure Bars are manufactured from induction hardened high performance tool steel, stainless steel and inlaid steel.
Heat treatment is carried in a special computer-controlled oven. Standard Hardness ranges between 56-60 HRc.
