Multilayer PVD coating 2.5 microns thick. It is obtained from plasma with a specific titanium, carbon and acetylene composition; this gives the coating a very low friction coefficient of 0.18 as well as a considerable deposited-layer hardness of 3.200 Vickers (HV 0.05).
It is particularly suitable for cutting stainless steel, titanium, hardened steel as well as brass and copper.
